Holly Willoughby makes Phillip Schofield giggle on This Morning with banana phone gag
Presenter thinks the yellow fruit can predict the future
HOLLY Willoughby made co-host Phillip Schofield burst out laughing on This Morning on Monday by using a banana as a phone.
As the presenters spoke to fitness expert Joe Wicks about the healthy recipe he was cooking, he asked Holly to chop a banana for the topping.
Happy to oblige, the 35-year-old took the knife and asked: "Have you ever asked a banana a question? Ask it a yes or no question."
When Joe asked if England would win Euro 2016, Holly adapted the question to see if the team would win their match against Iceland tonight.
She said: "Are England going to win tonight? That's a great question."
But chopping the end off one of the bananas, it didn't look good for Wayne Rooney and his team mates.
She added: "Oh it's a no. If it's a dot there it's a no but sometimes it's a 'y' for yes, see look."

As she showed the end of her banana, Holly wasn't satisfied with how clear it was for the camera, so chopped a little further in.
She said: "Look that's a really good yes.
"We should have done this with the Brexit thing shouldn't we? Maybe that's where we went wrong."
Her comments made Phil shake his head before putting his face in his hands to stifle his laughter, but what Holly did next really made the 54-year-old cackle.
Pretending to dial the banana like a phone, she said: "Another way to ask a banana a question is to dial and say 'Hello'."
Phil burst out laughing and Holly, who looked stunning in a polka dot dress, quickly got the giggles too, as laughter could be heard from behind the camera.
Joe laughed: "You’re losing the plot you are," to which Phil replied with a laugh, "Oh sorry Joe you’re still there."
Fans were clearly loving the duo's banana hijinx, taking to Twitter to share how much it had made them laugh too.
One viewer wrote: "Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield manage to crack me up all the time, today I am laughing at them talking to a banana."
Another said: "I think @hollywills asking bananas questions is the highlight of my day! #ThisMorning, while one fan loved the Brexit joke in particular, writing: "@itvthismorning @hollywills @Schofe I honestly love you's two peeing my pants xx #bananabrexit".
