Love Island’s Kem Cetinay splits from Lexi Hyzler after ‘growing apart’ in lockdown
AFTER a year of dating a trainee lawyer, Love Island champ Kem Cetinay is back on the market.
The couple struggled to cope with maintaining their long-distance romance after pretty Lexi Hyzler returned home to her native Malta during lockdown.

A friend said: “Kem and Lexi made a great couple but sadly they have grown apart over the past few months.
“She went home during lockdown and since then the travel restrictions have made it really difficult for them to see each other.
“Lexi told Kem she adored him but didn’t think they could carry on and he agreed.
“It’s been really sad for both of them but it’s all amicable and they’re hoping they can remain good friends.
“Kem has thrown himself into work and is focussing on his new restaurant opening in Essex.”
Kem and Lexi first went public back in January and the pair seemed smitten.
He said at the time: “The fact I’ve introduced her to my family and she’s stayed here shows I’m taking it seriously.
“We had a chilled week – loads of Turkish kebabs, seven nights a week. She’s got to get used to it.
“We don’t do standard dinners, it’s straight-up barbecue every night. She was force-fed!”
Kem won Love Island back in 2017 with Amber Davies.
The couple dated for six months before calling time on their romance.
She’s since gone on to find love with Nick Kyriacou.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun last month, Amber revealed it was “love at first sight” when she first met Nick.
