Burping in the deep

Glastonbury 2016: Adele burps in the face of a fan and the crowd go wild

Explains: 'I had a dirty burger before I came on, that's why'

ONE superfan got more than they anticipated when Adele accidentally belched in their face as she posed for a selfie with them at Glastonbury.

Maria, who had travelled all the way from Brazil with her boyfriend John to see her idol headline the festival in Somerset, must have felt like all of her Christmases had come at once when she was plucked from the crowd.

Offering to take the photo when grinning Maria seemed unable to do it herself, Adele, 28, gladly did the honours.

Frame captured, she then announced: “Oh, my, god, I just burped!”

It was followed by the Rolling In The Deep singer’s trademark cackle which was met by cheers from the adoring festival goers watching the action unfold in front of them on the Pyramid Stage.

Adele then turned to her awe-struck new friend-come-soon to be internet sensation, said “I’ll see ya later, Maria,” and gave her a big hug.
