Strictly’s Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skornajec reveal money struggles after having three tours cancelled due to pandemic
MARRIED Strictly pros Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec shared their money struggles after three of their tours were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The pair, who wed in 2017, got candid about their "tough" year on former Strictly star Dr Ranj Singh's podcast , which was recorded in July shortly after the UK's first lockdown was lifted.

Discussing how the global pandemic had affected them financially, Janette, 37, told the This Morning doctor: "Financially it was tough, we did lose three tours this year."
Despite their money worries, Janette remained positive about their situation and said being in lockdown meant she could spend more time with her husband, 30.
She continued: "We've learned to live in our own home, which we never felt before. Now our living room actually feels like our living room.
"I like the kitchen, I was never friends with the kitchen before and Aljaz has loved just taking time to himself, he hasn't been online much… he has taken time to chill out.

"It's been amazing."
Janette's comments comes as she and her current celebrity dance partner HRVY made it into the semi-finals on Sunday night following their sensational American Smooth to A Chorus Line's One.
Although thrilled to be in for another week, it means another week away from Aljaz as they have been forced to live in a bubble away from each due to the series' strict Covid rules.
Sadly, Aljaz and dance partner Clara Amfo crashed out of the show two weeks ago - meaning Janette can only see him on the weekend in studio.

She said at the beginning of the series: "I do see him around the studio. The hardest bit is when I do see him, my instinct is to run and hug him, but, of course, I can’t touch him.
"We’ve been together ten years almost, so it’s a good thing those butterflies are still there.
"But it’s so frustrating I can’t do anything with those butterflies.

"Thank God for FaceTime. I put the phone up on the side of the bed and we just chat while I give my legs a rub — because they are sore from the jive."
But Janette admits she’s had to put Aljaz to the back of her mind and concentrate on her own partner.
She said: “I absolutely adore HRVY and I’m just having the best time with him. He’s my main man right now, he’s my focus."
