Tristan Thompson becomes U.S. citizen and says it ‘achieved his American dream’ as Khloe Kardashian romance goes strong
TRISTAN Thompson became an United States citizen this week and called the achievement a “dream come true” as his relationship with Khloe Kardashian remains strong.
The 29-year-old Canada native came to the from Ontario as a teenager during his Sophomore year at a New Jersey prep school with a student visa.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services shared a picture of the NBA star being sworn in.
“I came to the US on a student visa and have always had big dreams.
“I’m now truly living the American dream,” said during his ceremony.
According to the sources, Khloe does plan on making extended visits to Boston with their two-year-old daughter but that's the extent of it for now.
The couple plans to make long-distance work - once more as they were also long distance when he played for Cleveland Cavaliers - because they don't want to uproot True's life in California and distance her from her cousins.
