Heavy D’s ex Bryony Harris says ‘we hated each other’ in tribute as she posts photo of late star with his daughter
HEAVY D's ex-fiancée Bryony Harris has paid an emotional tribute to the Celebrity Big Brother star following his shock death.
Bryony shared a sweet photograph of herself with Heavy and their daughter Rory, three, on social media after news broke that he has died.
Taking to Twitter, Bryony wrote: "I loved this man we argued we hated each other but we had love at one point and a beautiful daughter rest in peace you silly thing!
"Now time to myself please guys no messages."
Bryony got engaged to Heavy after just one month of dating in 2016. The reality star had popped the question on pal Lizzie Cundy's radio show.
Replying to her post, one follower told Bryony: "Sorry for your loss. RIP heavy."
Heavy - real name Colin Newell - was found dead by his brother Patrick on Wednesday morning (November 26, 2020).
The tragic discovery came after friends had raised concerns, saying the 47-year-old had not been seen for several days.
His family fear he may have died of Covid and a post-mortem is set to take place in the coming days.
A relative said: "This is very early days and the cause of his death is a mystery at the moment.
"He was obviously a big guy so there's an investigation on whether it is linked to Covid."
Heavy first found fame after appearing on the telly show Storage Hunters.
He became known for his catchphrase "Boom!" which he shouted after sealing a bid on the show.
He went on to take part in the 18th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 and was the fourth person evicted from the show.

In January 2018, Heavy D also appeared on ITV's Judge Rinder after he failed to pay his former landlord £12,000 worth of rent and caused damage to the North London flat.
Earlier this month, the telly star posted a series of videos on Instagram complaining he was being bombarded with nuisance phone calls.
Shouting at the camera, he said: "F***ing hell, alright you’ve got my number, doesn’t mean you’ve got to f***ing wear it out."
