Rebekah Vardy shares inspirational post hours after going one-nil up in her court victory with Coleen Rooney
REBEKAH Vardy has shared an inspirational post with her fans hours after going one-nil up in her court victory with Coleen Rooney.
The WAG, who will compete on the next season of Dancing on Ice, hasn’t said anything publicly since last week’s legal ruling in her favour.
But yesterday Rebekah shared an inspirational story to her Instagram account which read: “Know you are special and shine like a star.
“If you’re reading this…hope you are doing OK…Keep being you because you are enough.”
The 38-year-old also shared an appeal from a homeless charity urging people to donate items this Christmas.
Her messages prompted hundreds of messages from people who told her to “keep going” and said they were “Team Vardy”.
A source said: "This post really sums up how Becky feels right now.
"She thinks people need to be a lot kinder to one another."
Her post comes after Becky won the first round in the War of the WAGs last week after a High Court judge ruled that Coleen Rooney did point the finger at her.
Mr Justice Warby found that Coleem 'clearly identified' Becky when she accused her of leaking stories from her private Instagram account to a newspaper.
At a preliminary libel hearing, the judge was asked to examine the true meaning of the words used by Coleen in her accusatory online post last year.
Coleen, wife of former England captain Wayne Rooney, publicly blamed her rival for the leaks following a 'sting operation' that earned her the nickname Wagatha Christie.
Becky, wife of former England striker Jamie Vardy, is suing, claiming aggravated damages, and is seeking an injunction preventing her repeating the allegations.
Both sides have agreed to make a final effort to resolve the year-long feud through mediation - expected to be held before Christmas - to avoid a costly, and potentially embarrassing, trial.
