Ed Sheeran returns to the spotlight as he’s pictured with Little Mix following gap year
The singer has been travelling the world since announcing he was taking a 'long break'.
ED Sheeran has returned to the spotlight after vowing to “take a long break” by surprising fans at Little Mix’s concert in Italy.
The musician caused mayhem after unexpectedly arriving at their Get Weird show on Sunday with girlfriend Cherry Seaborn and watching from the side of stage.
Ed announced his decision to take a break from the showbiz world and to disappear for a while in November 2015.
Following a gruelling 179 date world tour, he wrote: “Hello all. I’m taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while. I’ve had such an amazing ride over the last 5 years but I find myself seeing the world through a screen and not my eyes so I’m taking this opportunity of me not having to be anywhere or do anything to travel the world and see everything I missed.
“To my family and friends, if you love me you will understand me buggering off for a bit, to my fans, the 3rd album is on its way and is the best thing I have mud thus far. See you all next autumn, and thank you for being Amazing.”
Since the announcement, the singer has been spotted all over the world while trying to keep a low profile.
In March, Ed’s mate Scooter shared a snap of him goofing around Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody and Johnny McDaid while in Los Angeles.
Ed was next spotted in Sydney in May after accidentally photobombing The Real Housewives Of Melbourne’s Gamble Breaux at the Icebergs dining room.
A few weeks later Ed was then snapped with fans in New South Wales while picking up a curry from a Bollywood restaurant.
Continuing to travel the world, Ed later popped up in Japan.
In a video for US Comic Relief, Ed said: “I’m currently in Japan travelling, but I’ve decided that if you guys raise more money than you did last year then I’ll dress up in a red tutu and eat the most disgusting thing they have in Japan.”
