Coleen Rooney grabs a coffee with her dog ahead of Wagatha Christie libel fight with Rebekah Vardy
COLEEN Rooney grabs a cup and pup as she runs errands with the family’s pet Pomeranian Pip.
The mum of four, 34, whose Wagatha Christie libel fight with Rebekah Vardy is due to kick-off tomorrow, cuddled the pet in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Rebekah denies involvement in selling stories using info from Coleen’s Instagram.
It was reported Rebekah Vardy is expected to deny on oath Coleen Rooney's claims she leaked stories about her in a courtroom showdown.
According to , will swear to the judge presiding over the case she has been wrongly accused.
It is thought both WAGS will not attend court, with just their lawyers present on their behalf for a meanings hearing on Thursday.
A source revealed: "Neither Coleen or Becky are expected to be there which may come as a disappointment to many who have been following the case and who wanted to see them go head to head.
"Instead solicitors will be slugging it out. Both legal teams have clear instructions - win at any cost."
Coleen will have to explain exactly what she meant when, in an Instagram post in October last year, she accused Becky of leaking a string of fake stories about her.
The mum of four will argue she has “reasonable grounds” to suspect Becky did so “directly or indirectly”.
Mum-of-five Becky, meanwhile, will have to specify exactly how she means to prove her libel claim.
Neither of the WAGS need to be at the first hearing on Thursday, which is set to last half a day.
A judge will decide the true meaning of Coleen’s post and set down the parameters for the women’s libel trial next year.
Coleen had reportedly wanted to avoid going to court, but after her legal team filed a 55-page document last month it indicated the showdown would go ahead.
The court documents show Coleen, 34, stands by the accusations made on social media that Rebekah leaked stories about her to journalists.
The document said: “The Claimant sometimes provided this directly, sometimes anonymously (under the pseudonym, ‘the Secret Wag’, a regular gossip column in The Sun for which she was the source, despite her denying this) and sometimes through third parties who were acting as approved or condoned by her.”
All the stories which were subsequently printed in The Sun were put to Coleen’s reps for comment prior to publication.
Last October, Coleen claimed in a bombshell social media post how one of her friends was leaking stories about her.
She wrote: “After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be for various reasons, I had a suspicion.”
Coleen claimed she posted a string of false stories via her Instagram account with restricted access to see if they appeared in the media, which they did.

She then said the fake stories had only been viewed by one person, and ended dramatically: “It’s . . . Rebekah Vardy’s account.”

Rebekah, who was heavily pregnant at the time, denied the allegations and claimed several people had access to her account.
She tearfully told Good Morning Britain: "I need to clear my name, I want to clear my name. I will do whatever it takes, and I hope it's going to be resolved soon."
