DOG The Bounty Hunter’s daughter Lyssa Chapman is launching a mission to find missing children and sex trafficking victims, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
She has teamed up with fellow reality star Rainy Robinson, who appeared on , and together the pair plan to use their bounty hunting skills to help reunite families with their missing loved ones.
Lyssa and Rainy say they got the idea for their new project after being inundated with messages from families and friends of missing people.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Lyssa said: “Basically Rainy and I were chatting about the skills and everything that we've acquired over the years and the best place to use those.
“We started chatting about missing people cases and we realized that there is a huge need right now. It is a huge calling for us especially when it comes to children that are getting involved in sex trafficking and sex crime.
“Most of these children are labeled runaways and a lot of these cases slip through the fingers of the police.
“In Hawaii alone, we have had more missing children this year than we have had coronavirus deaths.
“We have over 130 children missing from one district. And it's a tiny district.
“They’re classifying eight and 10-year-old siblings as runaways.
“They just found five kids in a house here. One of them was so doped up she almost died. If the cops didn’t find them, they could have died. They were all in sex trafficking, all labeled as runaways.
“We feel very passionately about this - we didn't choose this. This is choosing us. People are coming at us at an alarming rate where we have to do something, I can't ignore these babies in my inbox anymore.”
Rainy added: “I don't want to make it seem like there's boogie men around every single corner, but it happens enough to be concerned.
“People are reaching out to us every single day, there are always people in my inbox, saying ‘This is my cousin’ or ‘this is a boy from my town.'
“And it comes to a point where, we can't ignore these messages anymore. People are constantly reaching out, needing help and we are in a position to help.”
Rainy and Lyssa said they were shocked when they looked into the statistics surrounding missing children and sex trafficking in the US.
According to the FBI, in 2019 there were 421,394 NCIC entries for missing children.
Other statistics estimate that over 800,000 children go missing each year in the US - a rate of almost 2,000 a day.
Meanwhile, 50,000 people are trafficked into the US per year mainly from Mexico and the Philippines.
California, where Rainy is based, has the highest rate of sex trafficking among US states with 1507 confirmed cases in 2019 alone.
Internationally only about .04% survivors of human trafficking cases are identified, meaning that the vast majority of human trafficking victims go undetected
Lyssa and Rainy plan to pick a few cases to concentrate on and use their bounty hunting skills to try and find answers.
“Right now we are just two moms working from home but we can do better investigations than the FBI,” Lyssa said.
“You give me a computer and a name, and I will tell you all the information you need to know. So right now we are on a mission.
“We’re going to start by picking a couple of cases that seems to hit home for us. And we will do everything we can from home, making calls, reaching out to family members, getting the types of information that we need.
“We will literally do anything that we can do to help. “When it comes to making phone calls, people will hang up on the police. They say, ‘hi, we're looking for so-and-so’ and they hang up the phone.
“We can get farther than that sometimes because people respond when they have a celebrity in their inbox or we offer them a hundred bucks. They give up information. They cops can't do that. We can.”
Rainy says the main aim is to find answers for families who have lost a loved one - so they can begin healing.
“The plan is to reunite families to give answers, whether it's good answers or bad answers,” she said.
“At any given time in the United States, there's 100,000 Jane and John Doe's, they have bodies and they don't know how to identify them all.
“Off Manhattan there’s an island with 1 million people in it that are all unidentified.
“And so if we get answers, whether it is a good answer or a bad answer, the healing can begin. It’s the unknown that kills families and tears them apart.”
Lyssa and Rainy have set up a website for their new project where families or loved ones of missing people can reach out to them called
“We're already getting tons of emails and we plan to pick the most priority cases and go from there,” Lyssa said.
“The other good thing about Rainy and I is that we totally believe in networking - it is probably the number one thing that we do.
“And so in these regions, we have a network of people, private detectives, bail bond agents, friends - we have a lot of people in a lot of places. So we can build teams around that regional district that we're working in.”

It comes after Lyssa revealed her joy that her daughter Mady's father had been released from jail and they planned to co-parent together.
Rainy has recently split from her husband David and accused him of after 25 years of marriage.
