TOWIE’s Jon Clark says Love Island bosses should bring back Zara Holland
Zara's telly indiscretion was a mistake but she deserves another chance says reality star Jon who knows what it's like to cause a stir on camera
TOWIE star Jon Clark says the public and ITV bosses should give disgraced Love Island contestant Zara Holland one more chance.
The 26-year-old, who has admitted he had sex on camera during his stint on Love Island last summer, says "things happen" and that he believes Zara has paid for her mistake.
And Jon who went on to get engaged after a whirlwind romance with glamour model Hannah Elizabeth says he believes 20-year-old Zara has learned her lesson.
He exclusively revealed to The Sun Online that he thinks the producers should allow her to return to the show after she quit the show following an illness in her family.
The 20-year-old, who discovered she had lost her Miss GB crown due to her wild antics, admitted she was "sad" to go but wanted to be with her mum.
Now Jon who joined the cast of TOWIE after he shot to fame on the reality programme says while he can see why Miss GB chiefs may be annoyed and will not reinstate her crown - he thinks she should be allowed to return to the programme.
He said: "Things get heightened when you are in the house.
"The littlest things are times ten, the biggest things are times a hundred.
"You feel more about someone, your feelings are more than what they are.
"It's not that you are not completely aware that the cameras are on you at all times, but things happen and you have to deal with them.
"She is supposed to be a role model and I completely get that.

"But she's a genuine girl bless her and I'd like to see her go back in.
"I think she'd have a really good chance of winning it.
"The most important thing is that her mum is okay but also I am keeping my fingers crossed that she goes back.
"I also hope the pageant organisers give her the title back."
