The injured Scots chef is spending time with his family in California
CHEF Gordon Ramsay, his wife Tana and their daughter Holly have emerged for the first time after he made the tragic announcement of the loss their fifth child last week.
Using crutches to enable himself to walk to his car, and with his wife by his side, Mr Ramsay dined out last night at the upmarket Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California.
The family has suffered a number of set backs in recent weeks and none more so than Mrs Ramsay’s miscarriage which the Scottish chef announced on social media.
The celebrity chef, 49, and his wife, 41, and daughter Holly, 16 were joined by a friend as they made their way out of the restaurant.
Earlier in the evening the culinary star paid tribute to his wife and daughter posting a photo on his instagram page with the caption “Dinner Date with my two ladies x.”
And they were immediately offered best wishes from fans who are clearly affected by the family’s recent news.
User Kkcdole said: “So very sorry for your loss, Gordon and Tana.
“Praying God would comfort you and for healing for your whole family.”
While users speaking in Russian, French and Spanish also wrote messages on the page.
The family’s first outing comes after Mr Ramsay thanked fans for their well wishes and paid a special tribute to medics at London’s Portland Hospital for their support following the devastating news.
He wrote: “Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks.
“We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.
“We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.”
Their outing also follows on from Mr Ramsay’s recent surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon which has left him requiring the use of crutches.
In another heartfelt message to fans he wrote: “Surgery went well, thank you all for your support and kind messages.
“Obviously upset I can’t play this weekend #socceraid and Ironman for @greatormondst and @GTRFoundation next weekend in Saffs I’m not good at lying down.
“Now I’ve got no choice , need to sit still !!!! Thank you love to all G.”
