PETE WHO?

Big Brother’s Pete Bennett is almost unrecognisable 14 years after winning the show

BIG Brother legend Pete Bennett looks totally different 14 years after winning the show.

The 38-year-old is almost unrecognisable after transforming his image from a punk rocker to a suave dandy.

In new snaps, Pete wore a fancy purple blazer and black trilby hat with glasses.

He finished off his look with a plain white shirt, blue jeans and natural curly hair let loose.

It's a striking difference to how he looked on Big Brother 7 in 2006.

Back then, fans were obsessed with his quirky style and peroxide blonde hair.

Pete, who has Tourette's syndrome, won over hearts of the nation 14 years ago when he entered the house.

He went on to win the hefty £100,000 prize fund, which he recently admitted went on "bailiffs, the tax man, drugs".

Pete has been open about his drug addiction in the past, and in 2015 he decided to broadcast his struggles on Jeremy Kyle.

He told host: "The work dried up pretty fast, no one would touch me with a barge pole because I was to do with Big Brother. I lost it all.

"It all kind of went wrong, it didn't go to plan. I had all that money and I didn't know what to do with it. I put it on the wrong things. I was homeless after having so much money, it's easy come, easy go. The fame pushed me in a way I didn't want to go, I didn't like it.

"I got into drugs 15 years ago, I've always been a party animal, I was addicted to ketamine. I went to get proper help for my addiction."

But since then he's turned his life around.

Over the years he's set up a cleaning service called Celebriclean, hosted his own karaoke night in Brighton and appeared in a number of telly programmes.

He recently landed his first ever role in a blockbuster movie called Nan: The Movie, alongside Catherine Tate, who will be portraying Joannie Taylor for the first time in five years.

Back in June the Big Brother winner revealed that he called the comedian "every swear word under the sun" to bag the role.

He told us: "I was like s**t man, he’s going to get the part. I thought I better crank it up a notch.
