Charlotte Dawson breaks down in tears as she reveals ‘late dad Les’s face inside her baby scan’
PREGNANT Charlotte Dawson stunned fans with her latest baby
scan – revealing she can see her late dad Les’s face in the
image.
Taking to Instagram, the 28-year-old Celebs Go Dating star shared the startling snap of her unborn son with her one million fans.
“One of my lovely followers has sent me this from my scan video on my post before this … saying it’s my dads face in the black circle, can anyone see it????” she wrote.
“How weird !!!!!! If you don’t that’s fine. But I can see it …”
Celeb pals were quick to reply, with First Time Mum star Ferne
McCann saying: “I can see it.”
Former TOWIE alum Frankie Essex agreed: “Yes I can see it
too ❤️❤️”
While Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost added: “Beautiful- your angel watching over x”
Countless fans overwhelmed the comments, too – many saying
they could see the eerie image of dad Les’s face, though some
admitted they couldn’t.
Charlotte’s dad, legendary comedian Les Dawson, died unexpectedly aged 62 of a heart attack when she was just 8 months old.
And in a twist of fate, her new arrival – who she's expecting with
rugby player fiancé Matt Sarsfield – is due just a week before
what would’ve been Les’s 90th birthday on January 25.
The mum-to-be is often candid when talking about losing her
dad at such a young age – posting pics of her beloved
cardboard cut-out of him, and opening up about the Blankety
Blank host watching over her pregnancy.
“My hormones are everywhere right now so I've had teary
moments and some down days thinking about him,” Charlotte
previously told The Sun in an exclusive.
“I think you definitely look for signs to feel closer and there have
been some spooky moments.
“I could also end up giving birth on my dad’s 90th and you just
couldn't write that. It would be so magical for all of us. That will
be a sign from my dad.”
It’s been an emotional and scary few weeks for Charlotte, who
was diagnosed with pregnancy-related diabetes – then rushed
to hospital the next day, after her baby hadn’t kicked for around 48 hours.
Thankfully, the baby’s heartbeat was totally normal.
