Sarah Louise Platt is determined to confess everything about Callum Logan's death to the police, but has a meltdown outside the police station

Sarah found herself opening up to Todd (Bruno Langley) about her dangerous ex earlier this month after his body was discovered under the floorboards of her house.

He promised to keep her secret, instead trying to get the blame pinned on his brother’s late father, Tony.

While the police seem happy to accept the late builder as a prime suspect, Sarah is wracked with guilt.

Despite her on-screen turmoil, Sarah actress Tina O'Brien was all-smiles in-between a break from filming

The mum-of-two Sarah has been behaving more and more erratically in recent weeks as she is being plagued by bad memories of Callum’s death, as well as her fear that she could be sent to jail for his murder.

Last year viewers saw Corrie bad boy Callum (Sean Ward) being hit over the head and killed by her sister-in-law Kylie (Paula Lane) after he was attacking Sarah.

The women, with the help of Sarah’s brother David (Jack P Shepherd), then buried Weatherfield’s resident baddie in their family home.

Meanwhile, mum Gail (Helen Worth) was none the wiser that his body had been hidden underneath her garage.

Unfortunately his body was uncovered when Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Hansell) crashed into their house.

This week will see her admitted to a psychiatric hospital following an intervention by her concerned family.

It all starts when Billy Mayhew's (Daniel Brocklebank) drug addict brother Lee (Richard Crehan) holds her hostage in his bedsit.

Lee is hoping to force Billy into handing over £1,000 to him in exchange for his friend's safe release, but Lee gets much more than he bargained for when he realises that Sarah is mentally unstable.

He makes the mistake of trying to wind her up by saying that Callum is still alive.

Unfortunately for him, this only makes matters worse as Sarah's mood descends into all-out panic.
Tina O'Brien told Digital Spy: "She's really upset and she's really panicked.

“Sarah has been having doubts for weeks about Callum and has been wondering: 'Did he really die?
"She's in a really bad place. It's just too much pressure for her.

“She's had a baby, she's not sleeping, she's not got anybody to confide in and she just starts unravelling.
"Lee can tell she's not quite right.

“She keeps talking about Callum and he realises that if he can keep her there, then he's more likely to get what he wants.

“He abuses the situation and tries to make her feel scared and insecure. It backfires though, because she completely believes him and goes ballistic."

Sarah's hostage ordeal comes to an end when her brother David rushes to her rescue.

But seeing her meltdown and how unstable she is her family convince Sarah to get help.

Tina said: "The psychiatrist says she is having episodes of psychosis because of what's happened.

"The body has been discovered in the house, she's just had a baby and the lack of sleep contributes to it all. Sarah acknowledges that she needs to get better.

"I hope Sarah can get better. I'm not sure yet, but I think she's getting all the help she can get in a mother and baby unit.

"It's easily the hardest thing I've ever filmed. It's been really tough and sad. It's definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone."
