Disney+ ‘kicking off Star Wars’ Boba Fett miniseries next week’ after epic debut on The Mandalorian
DISNEY+ is reportedly kicking off a Star Wars' Boba Fett miniseries next week after the character's epic debut on The Mandalorian.
Star Wars' most famous bounty hunter returned from the dead during the season two premiere of The Mandalorian.
And reports are suggesting Lucasfilm is now aiming to start filming the rumoured series in mid-November.
According to trade news site Deadline, season three of the hit Star Wars show could be delayed as a "Boba Fett miniseries, would film first, starting next week, with The Mandalorian season three following a monthlong break".
This comes after Boba Fett made his first appearance after his apparent-death in Return of the Jedi.
The season two premiere - titled Chapter 9: The Marshal, written and directed by creator and showrunner Jon Favreau - saw a marshal hand over Boba Fett's armour to Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal).

Din then promises to take it back to its ancestral homeland, before revealing the shadowy figure of Boba Fett in the background.
Fans of the fan-favourite character will remember Boba Fett was eaten by the Sarlaac during the first act of Return of the Jedi.
A Boba Fett movie was then announced by Disney, at first directed by Chronicle's Josh Trank, later tied to Logan's James Mangold.
However, in October 2018 and after the poor performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story - the Han Solo prequel film - they dropped plans for the movie in order to focus on The Mandalorian.
