VETERAN actor Geoffrey Palmer has passed away aged 93.
The actor will always be best known for starring alongside Dame Judi Dench in As Time Goes By.
Who was Geoffrey Palmer?
Geoffrey was born in London in 1927, and served in the Royal Marines.
He trained as an accountant but his girlfriend convinced him to sign up for a dramatic society.
Geoffrey's first role on television was as part of the ITV series The Army Game.
He was awarded an OBE in 2004 for his services to drama.
He is survived by his wife Sally Greene and their children Harriet and Charles.
