THE Chase fans were in hysterics tonight after Bradley Walsh was dwarfed - by the show's tallest contestant.

Nathan, who is 6ft10in, appeared on the teatime quiz today, with fans asking if he was related to one of the show's most famous names.

Several suggested the quizzing giant was the brother of 55-year-old Chaser Mark 'The Beast' Labbett.

One wrote: "Anyone else think nathan looks like the beast?? literally his brother." Another said: "Is Nathan related to The Beast?"

A third agreed, asking: "Nathan - The Beasts brother?"

In fact, Nathan is even taller than show favourite Mark - who stands at an imposing 6ft5in.

Others joked that he was so tall that he would be able to face the Chaser, who tonight was Shaun 'The Dark Destroyer' Wallace, despite them sitting atop their high platform.

One tweeted: "Wow on #TheChase the competitor Nathan is so tall he is eye to eye with the Chaser."

Another boggled: "F**k me - 6'10"?! Nathan is taller than @richardosman, @daraobriain, @gdavies and @MarkLabbett!"

At nearly 7ft, Nathan towered over 60-year-old host Bradley, who is 5ft 7ins tall.

One viewer giggled: "Either Brad is small or Nathan is incredibly tall."

But the host managed to keep himself entertained by making cracks about the contestant's height, quipping when Nathan explained he worked in horseracing: "Are you a jockey?"

However, it wasn't a happy ending to the show for Nathan and his team.

They went home empty-handed, with the Dark Destroyer finishing them off in the final round with 17 seconds remaining.
