Strictly star Karim Zeroual signs up to Celebs Go Dating after split with girlfriend of four years

STRICTLY finalist Karim Zeroul has split from his childhood sweetheart once again – and is fixing his broken heart with a stint on Celebs Go Dating.

The former CBBC presenter called time on his romance with Poppy Birtwistle and has signed up for the E4 dating show.

Karim and Poppy previously split when he first joined the Strictly line-up last year but got back together when he was on the show.

However the couple, who’ve been dating for years, have now split again and pals tell The Sun how he’s joined Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find a new girlfriend.

An insider said: “Karim and Poppy’s split was pretty amicable but she's surprised he's signed up for the show after Strictly.

“Karim has said he’s taking part in the show for fun and that he wants to try something new.”

Celebs Go Dating were approached for comment.

Match Of The Day pundit Gary Lineker’s brother Wayne has also joined this year’s line-up.

The series is being filmed in a Covid safe environment this week in London.

Stars who previously attempted to find love on the hit series have included Megan McKenna, Chloe Ferry, Pete Wicks and James Argent.
