Strictly’s Jacqui Smith says she was eliminated because her ‘t*ts weren’t out enough’ as she slams ‘panto villain’ Craig
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Jacqui Smith has said that she was eliminated because her "t*ts weren't out enough" as she slammed "panto villain" Craig Revel-Horwood.
The 58-year-old star became the first celebrity to be booted from this year's series of the BBC One dance show on Saturday.
And she has now reflected on why she thinks she didn't get the votes that her competitors received following her and Anton du Beke's Samba.
Remembering the advice professional partner Anton had given her, Jacqui said: "'T*ts out, t*ts out, t*ts out' - that’s what Anton had told me.
"That’s sort of been the theme… The problem with my samba was my t*ts were not sufficiently out."
Reflecting on Craig comparing her performance to a "stumbling drunk", the former Labour MP branded the outspoken judge a "pantomime baddie", before adding to : "I’m quite tough, but I did find that quite difficult."
Jacqui was in the dance-off alongside Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing and his pro-partner Karen Hauer, with Craig, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas all opting to save Jamie.
When asked by host Tess Daly about her time on the show, Jacqui said: “I had the greatest adventure it’s possible to imagine.
"I’m just sorry I can’t continue it with this man who has been absolutely fantastic and gorgeous to be with.
"But I don’t feel too much shame in losing to these guys because they are a fantastic bunch of dancers, they really are. So I’ll be watching you and supporting you."
She then told Anton: "To Anton I would like to say you have been just an absolute joy to be with. I am so pleased and proud to have spent this time with you.
"And to everybody on the programme I don’t think people realise just how brilliant the team is that put this programme together and if ever we need Strictly, we need it now so thank you so much.”
Anton was asked if he had any words for Jacqui and said: “Well I’ve loved every second of being in the studio with you.
"We have laughed, you have a shocking sense of humour I can’t begin to tell you. You are just the best and I’ve loved it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
