Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy will begin their courtroom showdown within weeks
WARRING Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy’s legal battle will kick off in the High Court in November.
Lawyers for each side in the “Wagatha Christie” case will lock horns for the first time in a so-called “meanings hearing”.
Coleen will have to explain exactly what she meant when, in an Instagram post, she accused Becky of leaking a string of fake stories about her.
The mum of four, 34, will argue she has “reasonable grounds” to suspect Becky did so “directly or indirectly”.
Mum-of-five Becky, 38, meanwhile, will have to specify exactly how she means to prove her libel claim.

The November 19 hearing is due to last half a day. Coleen and Becky are not expected to attend.
A judge will decide the true meaning of Coleen’s post and set down the parameters for the women’s libel trial next year.
Coleen, wife of former England captain and Man United hero Wayne, 35, and Becky, wife of England and Leicester City ace Jamie, 33, previously tried mediation to settle the row.
