The PM will deliver a press conference to announce the details of the lockdown, which forces Little Mix to cancel the live semi-final of The Search.

The coronvirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on The Search after Jade Thirlwall was forced to self-isolate for the first live show of The Search last weekend.

The 27-year-old singer appeared via video-link from her home instead.

A statement read: "Jade has to self-isolate this week and will therefore be carrying out her role as Mentor on Little Mix The Search from home.

"For this Saturday's show, Jade will participate via video link, continuing to mentor alongside Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie."

People need to self-isolate if they show coronavirus symptoms or it is revealed they have the disease.

Jade's video-link appearance on The Search came after the original live show was pulled from TV schedules earlier this month when members of the team tested positive for coronavirus.

A statement released by the show read: "We can confirm that a small number of people on the Little Mix The Search production have tested positive for coronavirus and they are now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines.
