LITTLE Mix's reality talent competition series, The Search, has been cancelled for the Prime Minister's address to the nation.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to announce a national four week lockdown at 6.30pm tonight.
The PM will deliver a press conference to announce the details of the lockdown, which forces Little Mix to cancel the live semi-final of The Search.
Little Mix announced the cancellation on its Instagram stories and revealed plans to host the semi-final as a mega final weekend event.
The girl group wrote: "Little Mix The Search has been postponed for a BBC News special.
"The show wil now become part of a big Final event weekend, with the semi-final airing at 7pm 6th Novemeber and the final at 6.05pm on Saturday 7th November."
The coronvirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on The Search after Jade Thirlwall was forced to self-isolate for the first live show of The Search last weekend.
The 27-year-old singer appeared via video-link from her home instead.
A statement read: "Jade has to self-isolate this week and will therefore be carrying out her role as Mentor on Little Mix The Search from home.
"For this Saturday's show, Jade will participate via video link, continuing to mentor alongside Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie."
People need to self-isolate if they show coronavirus symptoms or it is revealed they have the disease.
You also have to quarantine if someone they live with or a member of their support bubble has the virus - or if they have recently returned from certain countries.
Jade's video-link appearance on The Search came after the original live show was pulled from TV schedules earlier this month when members of the team tested positive for coronavirus.
A statement released by the show read: "We can confirm that a small number of people on the Little Mix The Search production have tested positive for coronavirus and they are now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines.
"Due to the format of the show we have made the decision to postpone Saturday's programme.
"There are rigorous protocols in place to manage Covid-19 as the safety of all those involved in the production is paramount. We hope to be back on air on Saturday 24th October."

The PM will reveal tonight at a press conference at 6.30pm that all pubs and restaurants will close in a huge U-turn - four months after the end of the first UK-wide shutdown.
Mr Johnson introduced a three-tier system this month to try to steer away from a second national lockdown.
But as cases continue to rise he is expected to tell the nation in a press conference that it's impossible to avoid.
