David and Brooklyn Beckham take a trip down memory lane as they share sweet throwback photos to mark Father’s Day
Victoria also shared a touching message to her husband from their four children
DAVID and Brooklyn Beckham have paid tribute to the influential men in their lives by marking Father’s Day with some nostalgic photos.
The famous father and son took to their Instagram pages this morning to wish their Dads a happy day with a couple of black and white photos from when they were younger.
Brooklyn, 17, shared a snap from when he was about 13 of him and David and simply wrote: Happy Father’s Day.”
But David, 41, went even further back in time and posed a snap from 1975 of him as a baby in his father’s arms.
And he wrote: “Happy Father's Day dad... Support and love is what children need and deserve, I was lucky to have both... To all the fathers around the world happy Father's Day X.”
Victoria also got in on the action as she paid tribute to her husband of 17 years and shared a photo of him on her Instagram page.
The snap shows David in sunglasses and a white T-shirt and she had written on the photo: “Worlds (sic) Best Daddy.”
And she captioned it: “Happy Father's Day X We love u!!! X Kisses X VB.”
Meanwhile, David has revealed that he would rather help children in need around the world than become England manager.
The former Manchester United and England player has been in Swaziland in his ambassador role for children’s charity UNICEF.
He spent time with vulnerable children who are affected by HIV and Aids in the country which has the world’s highest HIV infection rate, and 26 per cent of those aged 15 to 29 have the virus.
And he said: “People say to me, ‘Why don’t you want to be a manager, an England manager?’
“At the moment my passion is UNICEF. That’s what drives me. Being manager of a team, I’m just not passionate about that.”
“Even before I had children I always really cared about children and their future. So when Kofi Annan contacted me to become an ambassador it was a proud moment.
“There are places UNICEF can’t get to speak to a Prime Minister or king. Luckily, sometimes all it takes is a king’s or PM’s son who wants a selfie – and it opens the door.”
