The star was spotted at a secret photoshoot in Kensal Green, North West London, last week ahead of isolating for a fortnight to take part in the series.

Russell’s appearance in the show comes after he fought off a near-fatal brain tumour in 2007, which required emergency surgery and an extensive rehabilitation programme.

Jessica Plummer - £75,000

The EastEnders and pop star is said to have taken in £75,000

Hot off the heels from her dramatic departure from EastEnders, Jessica is said to have received £75,000 to take part.

It's thought she earned between £400 and £2,000 per episode of EastEnders.

So she's likely to earn half her annual salary for just a few weeks work.

Not only was she a popular soap star, Jessica was also a part of girl band Neon Jungle - giving her a potentially large fan base.

The insider said: “Ruthie is a particularly exciting signing for I’m A Celebrity as viewers will want to see if she divulges any gossip on her relationship with Prince Edward.

“They’ll be hoping she lets slip some juicy information on her posh ex during cosy, intimate chats round the campfire.”
