Katie Price’s boyfriend Carl hits back at fan who spots their visit to same Maldives island where Kieran Hayler proposed

KATIE Price’s boyfriend Carl Woods hit back at fans last night after they spotted the couple on the same Maldives island where her ex Kieran Hayler proposed.

Carl, 31, blasted a slew of Instagram trolls after they accused him of using Katie for money and holidays, while others mocked the pair for going to the Maldives in the first place.

Carl shared a stunning video of their private island on Instagram but was met with a string of nasty digs about his relationship with Katie.

One fan said, "that's where katie married kieran" and another claimed Kieran proposed to new girlfriend Michelle Penticost on the same island, as one more nosy fan asked Carl: "Are you a freeloader?"

Carl shot back: "It’s quite honestly boring. People’s mindless assumptions that just because you are dating Katie Price. You free load, ponce and let her pay. Jog on.

"I’ve got plenty of my own money. I don’t need to ponce. Look at my Instagram years back. I've had nice cars, holidays, etc all before I met Katie.".

When another fan asked: "You or kate paid for the island?"

Carl fired back: "Me actually! Guess what I’m not skint!"

And Katie also chipped in, saying: "Not that it’s your business but Carl did so …. what’s your point keyboard warrior"

Other fans claimed Kieran married his new girlfriend Michelle on the same beach, as one said: "Isn’t that where Katie married Kieran, the pictures were gorgeous!"

And Carl replied: "Yeah I saw them. They were awesome pictures."

However, other fans begged them to ignore bitter haters and Katie thanked them for their support.

She said: "Thankyou means a lot I really am the happiest I’ve ever been and met my equal finally yes me and Carl both have pasts but We are both older enough to know what we want in life."

Katie and Kieran officially split in March 2018 after five years of marriage, and 33-year-old Kieran has also moved on with fiancée Michelle Penticost.

The Sun Online can now reveal that after more than two years of waiting, final divorce papers will be filed this week.

A source explained: "Both Katie and Kieran are keen to move on, and after all the paperwork, it's finally happening this week.

"Timing couldn't be better for Katie - she's now free to marry Carl."
