Rita Ora dresses up as Ali G as she heads into recording studio to make new music
Singer has started work on next album after parting ways with Jay Z's label
SPORTING a lot more clothes than usual, Rita Ora piled on the layers as she headed to a recording studio in Los Angeles to work on her new album.
Wearing an oversized jumper and shorts and accessorising with a beanie hat and sun glasses, the 25-year-old appeared to have taken her style inspiration from comedy character Ali G.
The creation of comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, self-styled “gangsta” Ali was known for his baggy clothing just as much for catchphrases such as “Booyakasha”.
Uploading a picture to social media showing off her ensemble, she wrote alongside it: "Du-rang? #moodforstudiotoday."

It comes days after the former X Factor judge had paraded around on a beach flashing her breasts at photographers on a beach in Malibu.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Rita has been released from record label Roc Nation.
The Hot Right Now singer came to an agreement with them after the company – owned by Jay Z – sued Rita for $2.4 million for breaching the terms of her contract and not providing the required number of albums throughout the years she has been with them.
A document filed to the New York Supreme Court show the pair have now settled things out of court and Rita is free to choose a new label.
Meanwhile, in previous documents, Roc Nation denied Rita’s claims that Jay Z is more focused on other things, such as his streaming site TIDAL, than his record label.
It read: “[They] have tirelessly promoted [her] career, investing millions of dollars in marketing, recording and other costs, which was instrumental in guiding Ms. Ora to her current level of success and fame.
“When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist. As Roc Nation’s interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives.
“Rita’s remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company.”
After the filing, Rita’s lawyer Howard King added: “Jay Z has personally and graciously promised Rita complete freedom from Roc Nation, the details of which are now being finalised.
“We believe that Roc Nation’s distributor, Sony Music, has required Roc Nation to file this action to preserve whatever rights Sony might have pending resolution.”
After the news broke, Rita hinted on Snapchat that she already has a new deal.
