Ellen DeGeneres debuts spiky new hairstyle on her talk show after brushing off toxic workplace claims

ELLEN DeGeneres debuted a new hair do on her talk show, rocking a spiky blonde look.

The 62-year-old changed up her look from the usual pixie look for a slicked-back pompadour style on her talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Wearing her signature shirt and blazer, 's new look was reminiscent of a past look worn by wife Portia de Rossi.

Her decision to debut the new style came as she continues the new season of her show

After months of reports, one source recently told The Sun that there was  about  over a period stretching several years.

The insider also shared that they are worried that staff, who enabled a "" to flourish, have remained on the show.

The new claims follow a slew of allegations over the summer including how staffers on the show experienced "”.

In her opening monologue, : “I know that I’m in a position of privilege and power and I realize that with that comes responsibility, and I take responsibility for what happens at my show.

She added: “I learned that things happened here that never should have happened. 

“We have had a lot of conversations over the last few weeks about the show,  and what we want for the future.

“We have made the necessary changes and today we are starting a new chapter."
