Sacha Baron Cohen reveals hardest Borat moment ever was five days in lockdown with coronavirus conspiracy theorists
COMEDIAN Sacha Baron Cohen has done some pretty wild things as his character, Borat, but he has now revealed which moment was the hardest.
Baron Cohen, 49, surprised fans by reprising the iconic character for a sequel, which he seemingly managed to film in secret.

The film's trailer shows Borat - the Kazakhstani journalist - on the presidential campaign trail.
The sequel pokes fun at Trump and the many issues that have been associated with the President including his health and ongoing accusations of racism.
It also references the coronavirus pandemic, with Borat attacking it with a pan before being told the virus is still here.
Filming Borat was a dangerous endeavour for Baron Cohen risked his life to make the sequel, having attended a number of risky events for the film and he even "had to wear a bullet proof vest" on two separate occasions, according to Deadline.

But none of those incidents were the ones that stand out for him as the most risky or dangerous.
The actor told the New York Times "the hardest" thing to pull off was living in a cabin with coronavirus conspiracy theorists.
“The hardest thing I had to do was, I lived in character for five days in this lockdown house,” he explained.
“I was waking up, having breakfast, lunch, dinner, going to sleep as Borat when I lived in a house with two conspiracy theorists,” he continued. “You can’t have a moment out of character.”

Some of the standout moments in the trailer with the two unidentified men included Borat trying to “kill the virus” by banging a frying pan against a wall.
The men then instruct him to try using an aerosol instead.
Another scene shows Borat dancing in the cabin's lounge room wearing nothing but his underwear.
The film's official title is 'Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan' and was only confirmed a few weeks ago.

It is also likely that the film will include some real life cameos including Vice President Mike Pence.
Now, more pictures have been released of the sequel and one scene sees Borat dress up as President Donald Trump to attend Vice President Mike Pence's speech at CPAC back in February.
In his disguise, he throws a woman over his shoulder and carries her through the crowd and shouts: "I've got the girl for you!"

At the time, police escorted the impersonator off the premises but it wasn't known who was behind the Trump mask until now.
Other promo shots from the film revealed Borat picking up a fat suit and mask to dress as President Trump.
The short trailer also declared that Borat is here to "save 2020", which he could well do as people certainly need a laugh after months of lockdown and restrictions relating to Covid-19.

Sacha, who was born in Hammersmith, London, is married to Australian actress Isla Fisher and they have two daughters, Elula and Olive, and one son, Montgomery.
He is best known for his characters Borat and Ali G, with the latter propelling him to fame in the mid-90s.

Despite the popularity of the character, Borat was retired with Sacha saying he had become too well-known to pull off pranks.
