First trailer for Kaley Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant teases gory murders, airplane romps and explosive chases

THE first trailer for Kaley Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant is packed full of action and promises a wild ride of a show.

The plot sees flight attendant and party girl Cassie’s life turned upside down when she wakes up next to a dead body.

The first trailer shows how Cassie meets the sophisticated Alex, who’ll go on to be the dead body played by Game of Thrones’ Michael Huisman.

He is a passenger on a plane she is working on and the pair enjoy a sexy romp on the plane before continuing their affair on the ground.

They go on a decadent boat trip and have dinner together before heading back to Alex’s hotel room for some nighttime adult activities.

She plays Cassie, a flight attendant, who enjoys the party life a little too much

But things take a turn when Cassie wakes up in the morning to find blood on her arm and Alex’s bloodied body in bed.

The trailer cuts to Cassie in a FBI interrogation room where she tells investigators Alex was “so alive” when she left him.

Things spiral out of control from that point for Cassie who only has “flickers” of memories of the night with Alex and feels “feel like I’m losing my mind”.

Cassie tells the FBI she’s “a crazy drunk flight attendant, not a killer”.

Their date goes beyond the plane to a whirlwind affair in Dubai

The trailer teases a blend of high camp comedy, drama and thriller for the series which drops on HBO Max on November 26.

The eight-part series Girls’ Zasia Mamet, Doctor Who’s Michelle Gomez and Birds of Prey actress Rosie Perez.

The Flight Attendant is a departure from her usual comedic roles, having previously starred as Penny in The Big Bang Theory

As well as starring in the show, Cuoco is executive producer for the thriller about flight attendant Cassandra Bowden who wakes in her Dubai hotel room hungover from the night before – with a dead body beside her.

She panicks and leaves the hotel room like nothing happened

Worried about calling the police, she decides to continue as if nothing has happened and returns to New York, where she is met by FBI agents.

Unable to piece together her evening, Cassandra worries if she is the killer.

Last month, Cuoco revealed the show is on track for a November release date following the delays to filming caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to US Weekly about the project, Kaley said: “When I read the book description, I got a chill down my arms. It felt like a good mix of drama and dark comedy. Plus, a complicated female character is a dream role.
