STRICTLY Come Dancing's Ranvir Singh has admitted that she is "scared" of her "fiery Italian" dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
The 43-year-old star opened up about her experience on the BBC dance show so far on today's Good Morning Britain.
Kate Garraway, who competed on the show in 2007, told her co-star she remembered being surprised by how "seriously" everyone involved took Strictly.
Ranvir was quick to agree, and later hinted at trouble ahead between her and 30-year-old Giovanni.
As a picture of the pair from Saturday's launch show flashed on screen, the TV presenter exclaimed: "Don't be fooled by his angelic face!
"He is a fiery Italian, super strict - I am a bit scared of him."
Ranvir emphasised her shock as she added: "I do need a bit of discipline, but my goodness!"
However, the pair are currently getting along famously - with the star even being teased by Kate as she pointed out that Ranvir was so distracted by Giovanni when they first met that she didn't even notice her pet dog Shmizzels had got tangled in his lead.
The poor pooch was forced to walk backwards as Ranvir wrapped her arms around her dance partner and the pair strolled into the distance.
Pointing out the mishap as the clip replayed, Kate joked: "It seems you were rather taken with Giovanni, and actually poor Shmizzels your dog couldn't keep up with you!"
However, Ranvir insisted that she has made it up to her pet after seeing what had happened - spoiling him with his favourite cheese.
She shared: "He's lovely, he's eating a lot of cheese, which is his favourite, because I bought him a lot at the weekend!

"I hadn't even noticed until somebody tweeted it but it's so funny."
Ranvir then revealed that she'd "ruthlessly" changed her WhatsApp photo from one of her dog and her son to the official one of her and Giovanni.
This year's series of Strictly launched on Saturday night, with viewers finding out who the celebrity contestants had been paired with.
As well as Ranvir, stars such as Maisie Smith, Jamie Laing, and Max George are competing in this year's show.
