'utter shockers!'

Great British Bake Off viewers shocked as NO ONE makes a decent brownie in ‘most basic’ challenge yet

GREAT British Bake off viewers were shocked tonight as none of the bakers managed to make a decent brownie.

The remaining bakers tried to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their exotic brownies - but their plan to show off soon backfired.

“Brownies are one of the most basic things to bake; if you can’t get that right…” Paul ominously warned the bakers.

Lottie came worse off as she was forced to put her brownies in the freezer to set leaving them soggy and covered in “freezer juice”.

“Look a right mess like they’ve been dropped,” Paul said.

Everyone in the tent had a brutal judging with one fearing: ““We’re going to get hammered here.”

And Lottie soon realised where they went wrong.

“We’ve all tried to make it harder than it needed to be,” she said.

Fans of the show rushed to Twitter to share their disbelief that the best amateur bakers in the country struggled to make simple brownies.
