‘Heartbroken’ Calvin Harris parties with Mark Wright in Las Vegas to get over Taylor Swift – whose pals thought she was ‘The One’
The Scottish DJ put his troubles to one side as he threw himself into his tour
CALVIN Harris put on a brave face as he partied with Mark Wright in Las Vegas – but friends say he’s “devastated” over ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s new romance with Tom Hiddleston.
The Scottish DJ posed for a snap at a nightclub US party town with the former TOWIE star as he put his romance woes to one side.
Mark, 29, posted the photo to his Instagram page and captioned it: “He da man!”
But speaking to the Sun Online, a source said 32-year-old Calvin was gutted about the split and the photos of her kissing Hiddleston – which the Sun broke exclusively today – was the last straw.
They said: “He is truly and absolutely heartbroken. He is trying to put a brave face on it throwing himself into work and the gym but the truth is he really did think she was the woman he was going to marry - his family LOVED Taylor!
“Calvin's entire close circle are really shocked and devastated for him.”
The insider added that his close friends and family “absolutely hated Rita Ora” and thought Taylor was a “breath of fresh air” in comparison.
They added: “She was also really good for him as she kept him grounded. They would comment how 'normal' she was and down to earth when they spent time with her.
“They don't know how he's going to get over this - it was bad enough losing her but to see these intimate pics is too much. He's being supported by his tight circle, and his closest friends have been on the phone to make sure he isn't feeling alone. He also partied with Mark Wright the other week - he likes him a lot as he's fun and it helped take his mind off her.”
Calvin – real name Adam Wiles - and Taylor split up two weeks ago after a 15-month long romance.
