Jayne Connery left in tears on Big Brother after reunion with Chelsea Singh gets complicated
Pair fell out before entering the house and were reunited on the show
JAYNE Connery was left in tears on last night’s episode of Big Brother after her reunion with Chelsea Singh didn’t go as planned.
The 49-year-old told Big Brother that she felt she “always came second best” and felt she was only accepted into the house because of her connection to the Mayfair multi-millionaire.
Chelsea was removed from the main housemate and became an ‘Other’ in a botched live episode last night.
A glitch in the show meant that adverts would interrupt the live feed and blocked out the pair getting reunited.
But fans were able to finally see the footage on Wednesday night’s show as Chelsea entered the house.
Immediately noticing Jayne, Chelsea said hello to her before introducing himself to his new set of housemates.
Charlie was seen asking Jayne if she was alright and Jayne responded: “Thank you Big Brother.”
However, her happiness was short-lived as the pair spent some time together and she asked for an apology.
Shocked, Chelsea said: “I don’t think I owe you an apology.”
It later comes out that the pair, while friendly, had snogged outside of the house.
Livid Jayne asked him: “Did you, or did you not, tell me you were a single man?”
He agreed that he had said that, but added the relationship with his wife was “complicated” and that he and his wife have been living apart for some time.
He later added: “The reason for me coming in here is for me to see and know what my life situation is and what it should be and I’ve realised my life, how it has been, is wrong.”
She responded: “Well that’s a bit of honesty. That’s the truth.”
Viewers of the show already knew that Jayne and Chelsea held a mysterious history that saw them fall out shortly before they both came onto the show.
Later on, Jayne got emotional as she spoke to Big Brother and had to be reassured that she had earned her place on the show.
“90% of me – not going to lie – wants to walk. I think Big Brother you should’ve been honest with me, and said ‘Look, Chelsea’s going in’, because I wouldn’t have come.
"Because Chelsea is a multi-millionaire hes got really good friends and I am no one.
"I'm not here because of me, I'm here because of Chelsea.
"I've always been second best."
