Britain’s Got Talent’s Ant and Dec thrilled as Golden Buzzer act Jon Courtenay wins 2020 series
BRITAIN'S Got Talent crowned its 2020 champion this evening in a nail-biting finale, with musical comedian Jon Courtenay taking home the gold.
Hosts Ant and Dec were particularly thrilled by his victory as Jon was their Golden Buzzer act from the auditions.

Jon faced fierce competition in this evening's final, with Steve Royle and Sign Along With Us also making the Top Three.
He was clearly overcome with emotion when Ant and Dec announced that he'd won, admitting he hadn't dared to dream of the moment.
Jon exclaimed: "Don't make me speak!
"I tried not to think about it as I am really bad at hiding disappointment."

Referencing the prestigious prize, he added: "A couple of mornings I've woken up - and actually this morning, for the first time - this sounds really dramatic - but I woke up and had an idea for a song for the Royal Variety Performance. I wrote it down and I tried not to think about it as a sign.
"Just amazing, I can't believe it. Listen, thank you. You don't know how much this means. You have changed my life, my family's life. My mum, I can't imagine how you're coping right now. I hope you're still alive!"
The talented star will now receive the £250,000 prize, and also has the opportunity to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

His victory has been a long-time coming in a much-disrupted series of Britain's Got Talent, which was thrown into chaos by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
While the auditions were completed at the start of the year, the show had to go off-air before the finalists could be decided.
In the end, the semi-finals were pre-recorded in front of the socially-distanced judges and a virtual audience.

Jon won over viewers with his witty and personal self-penned songs, which he performed on a piano.
He'd previously moved the judges to tears with a touching performance about his late father.
And tonight he had Alesha sobbing again with a moving yet hilarious song about this year's difficult events.
Tonight marks the end of an attention-grabbing series of BGT, with this year seeing the family show become the most complained about TV show in a decade with a staggering 27,898 complaints - led by Diversity's Black Lives Matter inspired performance last month.
