Gemma Collins teases ‘one woman show’ in Las Vegas as she plans to follow in Mariah Carey and Britney Spears’ footsteps
GEMMA Collins has teased a "one woman show" in Las Vegas, following in the footsteps of her fellow divas Britney Spears and Mariah Carey.
The former reality star posted a selfie of her enjoying a cocktail on Tuesday evening, and captioned the snap: "Just planning my LAS VEGAS ONE WOMAN SHOW."
The 39-year-old self-confessed diva was caught on camera in August wowing a crowd of friends and family by showing off her rarely-heard singing voice - belting out Hey Big Spender at a garden party.
Taking to the stage underneath a little gazebo, Gemma wowed an audience that included her mum Joan and dad Alan.
She crooned: "Hey big spender... spend a little time with meeeee" as one reveller whooped: "Yeah, come on GC."
The star has long been promising fans a new singing career, as she was thought to be working with producer Naughty Boy.
But in June a music insider told The Sun: “Gemma and Shahid have been forced to cancel any plans to put out a song this summer.
“They were supposed to be working on a song that was going to be released last Christmas but their hectic schedules didn’t match up.
“And now it’s like deja vu as it’s happened all over again.
“Gemma had been so keen to see if they could get the song out this summer but it’s been a nightmare."
The GC - who has lost an incredible three stone in weight in recent years, in her hopes of starting a family - also recently threw her support behind Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the hopes of "saving Christmas."
She pleaded with followers to stick to the government's news rules around wearing masks and social distancing as the coronavirus pandemic ravages the country.
She posted her famous "I'm claustrophic, Darren" moment from Celebrity Big Brother - but with the name "Boris" dubbed over the top instead
"LETS DO THIS we could SAVE Christmas 🎄and more importantly SAVE LIFES !!! Let’s stop moaning !!!! And let’s START DOING," she captioned the post.
Gemma added the dual hashtags "#supportborisjohnson" and "#savelifes".
The prime minister has urged Brits to show "discipline, resolve, and the spirit of togetherness" to get Britain through the "difficult" months to come - or face a new national lockdown.
