Celebrity First Dates line-up revealed: Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, Jessica Wright… and Esther Rantzen will all be going on a blind date
Famous faces to look for love on hit dating show
GOGGLEBOX star Scarlett Moffatt is one of the famous faces looking for love on a celebrity edition of First Dates - despite having a boyfriend.
However fans of the Geordie beauty shouldn't feel duped, as the 25-year-old filmed her blind date before she got together with current beau, Luke Crodden.
Scarlett will appear on Celebrity First Dates alongside former TOWIE star Jessica Wright, Paralympian Will Bayley and TV legend Esther Rantzen.
Despite sharing a number of snaps with Luke on her Twitter and Instagram accounts, Scarlett's fans are clearly excited about her involvement in the hit Channel 4 dating show.
One supporter wrote on Twitter: "Just gave a yelp of excitement about @ScarlettMoffatt going on @firstdates..."
Scarlett was quick to retweet the comment, seemingly confirming her involvement, but the blind date could prove hard to watch sitting on the sofa with her parents and Luke.
The reality star confirmed her relationship with the bearded hunk back in April, after weeks of keeping her followers guessing about her relationship status.
Alongside a snap of the couple posing happily together, she simply wrote: "#boyfriend", while earlier this week, she shared a picture of Luke playing football as a goalkeeper and the star couldn't help but gush about him.

She captioned the shot: "my man crush everyday #mancrush #boyfriend"
Meanwhile former TOWIE star Jessica, 30, is hoping to find romance in the First Dates restaurant after seemingly staying clear of relationships since her split from boyfriend of two years, Ricky Rayment in 2014.
Despite a brief dalliance with fellow TOWIE star Pete Wicks, Jessica was most recently linked to former Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother star James Hill, but quickly denied they were a couple.
After reports claimed the pair had enjoyed a string of dates, Jessica's representative told the MailOnline: "This is absolutely false and untrue."
Another big name to sign up for the show, which will include four celebrity episodes and a further 20 standard episodes, is That's Life! presenter Esther, 75.
The legendary TV personality has been single since the death of her husband Desmond Wilcox in 2000, after being married for 23 years.
The couple had three children together, after meeting at the BBC and embarking on an affair, despite the fact Desmond was her boss and his first wife Patsy also worked at the Corporation.
The final celebrity confirmed for the show is Paralympic table tennis player Will Bayley, who competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics.
Speaking of the famous line-up, First Date’s executive producer, Nicola Llloyed, told List.co.uk: "It never seems to matter who walks through the doors of the First Dates restaurant, regardless of status we're all vulnerable human beings and our celebrity series confirms this.
"We're proud to be able to maintain the emotional integrity of the series through these four unique celebrity episodes.
“Be prepared for some romantic matches alongside a few awkward encounters."
The celebrity episodes are expected to air later this year.
THE SINGLE CELEBRITIES WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ON FIRST DATES
While we're sure the four famous faces taking part in the new series will make great TV, we couldn't help but think about our dream single celebrity blind date contenders.
CHARLOTTE CROSBY
After finally ditching fellow Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle, Charlotte is in need of a new romance to lift her spirits. We just hope she doesn't get so drunk that she ends up wetting herself again. You only get one chance to make a good first impression after all Char.
STEPHANIE DAVIS
She might be pregnant with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell's baby, but that doesn't mean she can't find happiness with Mr. Right. Although following her roller-coaster romance with the Irish model, it would take a brave man to take her on.
AIDAN TURNER
Let's face it, we want the hunky Poldark actor on First Dates so we can see his impressive abs one more time. What's that? You can't go to dinner shirtless? Oh...
LAUREN GOODGER
The former TOWIE star split from boyfriend Jake McLean earlier this year, and the entertaining Essex lass would be TV gold in a blind date scenario. Now she's had her lip fillers removed she might be keen to try her natural look out on a hunky suitor.
MARNIE SIMPSON
Another Geordie Shore favourite, Marnie would be a great addition to First Dates as she could be paired with a man or a woman, after revealing she is bi-sexual earlier this year. After struggling to come to terms with her sexuality, it would be nice to see romance flourish for the 24-year-old.
LOUISE THOMPSON
Another star to go through a recent heartbreak, Louise split from boyfriend Alik Alfus after a two-year romance. The Made in Chelsea star has never been afraid to share her opinion, so watching her on a blind date would definitely be interesting.
DAVID WALLIAMS
The Britain's Got Talent judge is a real hoot on the ITV show, and his cheeky personality would be great to see in a one-on-one scenario in the First Dates restaurant. TV Gold in our eyes.
