Lady Leshurr confirmed as tenth celebrity to join Dancing On Ice line-up – but admits she’s ‘petrified’
LADY Leshurr admitted she's "petrified" after confirming she's signed up Dancing On Ice.
The Sun Online revealed the musician, 30, would be joining the show earlier this month and she becomes the tenth confirmed celeb.
However, Lady Leshurr has confirmed the news on Kiss Breakfast with last year's runner up Perri Kiely and Jordan Banjo.
She said: "Oh my gosh I don't what I’ve got myself in for but everyone knows me to be that person to just throw myself in at the deep end and I just wing it a lot of the time."
She added: “I'm petrified, (but) I've always wanted to ice skate so what’s better than doing it in front of millions of people.
"I'm looking forward to having a new skill, (skating) backwards and just showing off in front of my friends."
Perri offered his expert opinion, saying: “Whenever you can just get on the ice, you’re going to enjoy it, you're going to have a blast."
He then joked, "If you do a music video on the ice bring me in!"
Lady Leshurr is a grime and hip hop rapper, singer, and producer whose real name is Melesha Katrina O'Garro.
She is best known for her Queen's Speech series of freestyles, the fourth of which became popular in 2016.
