Coleen Rooney wants 11th hour deal with Rebekah Vardy to avoid Wagatha Christie court case
COLEEN Rooney wants a last-minute exit from her war with Rebekah Vardy — after her rival vowed to “clear my name” at all costs.
The women are due to have a High Court libel showdown after Coleen accused her former friend of leaking stories about her.

But Coleen — wife of ex-England star Wayne — is being urged by those close to her to bow out of the dispute as quickly as possible and avoid any further expense.
A source said: “Things have gone much further than many had expected.
Her legal team is desperately trying to find a way this can be settled privately.
“Coleen is a rather shy and private person, so the idea of having personal matters relating to her and Wayne raked over in court is something that fills her with dread.”
Becky, 38, has denied the claims throughout — and on ITV’s Good Morning Britain said she understood why people think their feud is ridiculous.
She said: “We tried to sort things out amicably, it just didn’t work. I understand people think it’s ridiculous, but what was I meant to do?
"I want to clear my name. I will do whatever that takes.”
The Wagatha Christie saga began last October when Coleen claimed in a tweet that she had restricted access to her stories in a bid to find out who was leaking tales about her personal life.
'IT'S RIDICULOUS'
She then posted her findings with the line: “It’s . . . Rebekah Vardy’s account.”
Those close to Coleen, 34, hope the women can still reach an agreement if a way can be found for both to claim some kind of victory.
The source added: “The big problem solicitors have on both sides is neither Coleen or Rebekah are willing to give an inch or say sorry.”

A spokesman for Coleen did not respond to The Sun’s request for comment.
Becky, wife of Leicester ace Jamie Vardy, also revealed she will join ITV’s Dancing on Ice in 2021.
She said: “I’m so ready for the sequins and full glam squad. I just want everyone to laugh at me!”
