Gogglebox fans beg bosses to snap up Piers Morgan superfan and her husband for next series after hilarious GMB stint
GOGGLEBOX fans are begging show bosses to snap up Piers Morgan's superfan who caused hilarity on today's Good Morning Britain.
Elaine Rees and her husband Alun appeared on the show after The Sun's story about wiping out an entire village's internet by watching Piers on their second-hand TV.
Despite getting a prime-time slot on the breakfast show with their beloved Piers, Elaine amused viewers by continuing to crochet a blanket during the interview.
And their down-to-earth nature and funny quips proved popular with fans who demanded they're offered a position on Channel 4's Gogglebox.
One viewer said: "Crocheting her way through a GMB interview. TV gold. Sign them up to #Gogglebox."
Another added: "#Gogglebox need to snap up this welsh couple on @GMB they are brilliant!"
Someone else said: "Surely these two will be lined up for #Gogglebox after their #gmb interview?! @Channel4."
"#GMB This couple need to be on #Gogglebox," insisted another.
Appearing on GMB today alongside her husband Alun, Elaine explained why she enjoys watching the 55-year-old every day.
"You make me laugh, but also cross when you won't let Susanna talk," she said.
Her shot at Piers got a round of applause from the studio - and fans at home quickly praised the pair as the show's best guests.
The retired couple from Wales had wiped out their entire village's internet every day for 18 months because of their dodgy £30 16" Bush set they bought three years ago on Facebook.
Soon they'll be watching Piers in ultra HD after the presenter offered to send them a free 64ins TV after their entertaining interview.

Piers ended the sweet interview by telling them: "You have been two of my favourite guests ever.
"Thank you for giving us a damn good laugh this morning. Enjoy your new TV. Good luck with the crocheting."
