Made in Chelsea hunk Spencer Matthews reveals ripped torso in Ibiza after ‘moronic steroids mistake’
The reality TV star was booted out of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of here for popping the pills
BULKED-UP Spencer Matthews whipped off his shirt to reveal his scorching hot physique at a hardcore bootcamp in Ibiza as he blasted his former steroid-taking ways as "MORONIC."
The Sun Online's exclusive images show the ex Made in Chelsea hunk now clearly favours a sweatier way of shaping up and losing weight since being booted out of the I'm A Celebrity jungle for the pill-popping addiction.
Seemingly determined to get ripped with the help of some sunshine, he has jetted off to the swanky fitness retreat and shed a stone in the space of a week as well as three inches off his waist.
It might have been the sheer heat on the Spanish island which prompted Spenny's topless workouts yet his lack of gym kit also served to show off his bulging arm muscles, strong chest and super-toned abs.
The reality TV hunk has been put through his paces in gruelling crack-of-dawn workouts beginning at 6am and lasting for 12 hours at luxury weight loss retreat the No 1 Boot Camp.
A hardcore team of ex Special Forces fitness experts nonetheless have been tasked with whipping the west London lad into shape with beach runs, boxercise classes, hikes, tennis and circuit training all crammed into his daily routine.
The TV star could be seen pulling on a baseball cap and some rather snazzy blue trainers as he sprinted down a dusty beach path towards the Mediterranean Sea.
Back at his swanky celeb-studded base, he could be spotted building up his biceps by lifting hefty weights on a bar high above his shoulders with numerous sets of repetitions.
He looked focused and determined as he got to grips with the challenge with his face clearly squinting with effort.
Later on, Spencer mixed things up with some medicine balls.
As he balanced his feet on two separate balls he used another to prop himself up as he shouldered his body weight on his left side for a press up.
He repeated the gruelling strength-building move under the watchful eye of a trainer.
The round fitness equipment also played its part in shaping up Spencer's abs as he propped himself up with both hands and worked on his core.
It's not all been about the gym sessions, with the camp also ensuring his nutrition was tip top with healthy meals and snacks to fuel the busy days.
The week-long retreat has transformed Spencer into a lean mean machine which has seen his weight plummet from 13st 9lbs to 12st 10lbs and his waist size shrink from 35.5in to 32.5in.
Spencer is no stranger to the intense schedules at No 1 Boot Camp after having visited the Balearic fitness hotspot - also a favourite of his former co-star Binky Felstead - on a previous occasion.
He took to his Instagram page to reveal he was "delighted," to be back and added: "Training hard to get the same results they always deliver!!"
The lothario - who spent a chunk of his time on Made in Chelsea bedding his female co-stars - couldn't resist uploading a sexy black and white snap of his toned torso to his Instagram page to show off the results of his hard week's work.
Alongside the image he wrote: "After my moronic mistake in November last year I've been working hard to be clean and healthy and have never felt better ... @no1_bootcamp helped me achieve my goals ... Thank you for the amazing stay!!"
Late last year Spencer, 27, dramatically QUIT ITV reality show I'm a Celeb after revealing his secret steroid addiction.
In a brutally honest statement he said: "Shortly after I arrived in Australia I told the production team that I was taking a steroid-based medication that had begun some weeks ago.
"When I started taking this programme of pills it was in preparation for a charity boxing match which, ironically, never took place.
"Vanity, I suppose, had been the reason for wanting to bulk up a bit for the fight.
"I had intended to come off the pills gradually, but there was no time to do this before I reached the jungle.
"My admission to the production team that I was still taking these pills led to the conclusion that it would be unsafe for me to stay in the jungle - a decision which I found extremely hard to stomach.
"I pushed back but ultimately the show's duty of care prevailed and bags had to be packed."
He added: "Taking these pills was a serious error of judgement, which I hugely regret.
"I have disappointed my family, friends and fans and would like to apologise. I would like to thank ITV for the opportunity and their support, they're a class act.
"I loved every minute of being in the jungle and wish the remaining contestants the best of luck. Hoping for another shot at it someday."
During his brief time in the Aussie jungle the E4 star saw sparks fly with Geordie Shore babe Vicky Pattison.
The pair dated for a few months earlier this year before Spencer exclusively told The Sun she had ditched him because she feared she would be the next victim of his love-rat ways.
