Why is Kelly Clarkson wearing an eye patch?
FANS have been buzzing about the eye patch that Kelly Clarkson has been sporting on The Voice and The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Kelly was looking like a pirate on her talk show in September of 2020, and later on the singing talent show.
"Instead of Coach Kelly for the battle rounds… y’all get Captain Kelly," Clarkson tweeted on November 9, along with a video of her wearing the patch.
The Voice airs on NBC on Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
"Well, something had gotten in my eye... and maybe cut it, did something."
"It got infected... When it first happened it was so puffy. I was like, 'What am I supposed to do?'"
Others wondered: "What happened to Kelly's eye."
The singer spoke about the split on Sunday Today with Willie Geist saying: "I mean, it's no secret. My life has been a little bit of a dumpster.
“Personally, it's been a little hard the last couple months. I've been talking to friends that have been through divorce.
"I don't know how people go through that without having some kind of outlet because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved."
