Piers Morgan brands Madonna ‘pathetic’ and says ’embarrassing’ star is ‘trying to act her boyfriend’s age’ in rant

PIERS Morgan has branded Madonna "pathetic" while ranting the "embarrassing" star is "trying to act her boyfriend's age".

The Good Morning Britain host, 55, launched into a tirade about the pop superstar, 62, following news she will be directing her own biopic.

Piers claimed Madonna hasn't been good since the 80s and her behaviour - particularly during lockdown - is "pathetic".

The presenter said: "When she did Holiday, she was the best popstar in the world. No question.

"Now it’s just pathetic watching Madonna now. Pathetic. Everybody finds her pathetic and now we’re having a biopic."

Co-host Susanna Reid asked what his problem with her was, other than her "getting older".

Piers continued: "She’s 62 now going on 20. The act doesn’t work. It’s embarrassing.

"She doesn’t know how to age gracefully. She’s trying to act the age of her boyfriends. I think the latest one’s about - what is he, 18? They’re always older than her kids, I know that."

The singer is currently in a relationship with 27-year-old dancer Ahlamalik Williams.

Madonna went public with her boyfriend late last year, before going on a over the New Year.

It was announced earlier today that Madonna will direct her own biopic from Universal Pictures and will co-write it with Academy Award winner Diablo Cody.

Madonna said the film will focus on her music.

She said in a statement: "I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer - a human being, trying to make her way in this world.

"The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive.
