THIS Morning's Eamonn Holmes told Denise Welch to "calm down" during a tense debate rant about coronavirus 'scaremongering'.
The 62-year-old star, who was shouting at times during the debate, said the Government had been frightening people as she expressed some questionable views.
The actress, appearing via video-link from Portugal, insisted: "I've never felt so passionate about anything in my life."
Speaking about the coronavirus crisis, she added: "I'm not saying this is over. I'm not saying how horrendous this virus is and was.
"But at the moment we have a one in two million chance of dying of Covid and I have a one in three chance of getting cancer. So can the Government please tell us the proper statistics?"
And she even aimed a dig at her ITV co-star during the tirade, saying: "I'm a T-list celebrity according to megastar Piers Morgan."
But Eamonn, 60, eventually turned the conversation to Dr Sara Kayat, saying of Denise: "She's not extremely right-wing on all of this."
But Denise interjected again: "Extremely right-wing? I'm not remotely right-wing, Eamonn."
The host replied: "I'm only using your quote back at you, right? Just calm down, right?"
Denise's rant saw her backed by droves of This Morning viewers, with one tweeting: "Finally someone talking sense!
"Love Denise she’s absolutely correct we can all be sensible and hygienic when it comes to this virus however the scare mongering and messing with peoples lives needs to stop!!"
Another said: "Well said Denise I completely agree with you, this government is using this virus to really scare people they should tell us the truth."
A third went even further, writing: "Denise Welch for prime minister."
However, not everyone was convinced with one viewer telling the show: "Turned off your programme for the day.

"Don't want to hear another word about Denise Welch, who has been spreading conspiracy theories for weeks, just because it curtailed her social life."
And Piers Morgan had something to say too, tweeting: "Dumb, deluded & dangerous Covid-deniers like Denise Welch need to stop being given airtime.
"Her idiotic, ill-informed ramblings - from a woman who never stops telling us that she suffers from mental illness - will cost lives by persuading people to think the virus isn’t a threat."
Others couldn't bear the amount of noise she was making, writing: "Denise Welch may have some very good points, but they are completely lost in the way in which she is putting them across."
