Katie Price tests out her new pink motorised scooter as she recovers from feet operations
KATIE Price has upgraded from a crystal encrusted wheelchair to a pink motorised scooter to help her get around.
The former glamour model was gifted the custom scooter after breaking both her feet in a horrific accident while on holiday in Turkey.
She was spotted receiving the hot pink ride outside her Sussex home alongside her 13-year-old daughter with Peter Andre, Princess.
The teenager hugged her mum who sat in her £10,000 wheelchair encrusted with 6,000 Swarovski crystals as they waited for the scooter to arrive.
As the new scooter arrived, Princess, pushed her mum over to it and lovingly helped her move out of the wheelchair.
The mum-of-five seemed cautious as she tested her skills.
Katie's beloved protection dog, Blade, kept a close eye on proceedings and ran alongside his mum as she took her new wheels for a spin.
The 42-year-old has been given the freedom to get around and be independent following her driving ban.
Katie was slapped with two-year driving ban in October after crashing her £130,000 pink Range Rover in 2018.
She plans to zip around her local area in Surrey, but tells The Sun Online: "I won't be breaking any speed limits on this - that's for sure."
Katie's new scooter underwent a dramatic makeover to match her previous pink vehicles.
Robbie Orlando from Surrey's Valet Magic was the brains behind her pink Suzuki makeover and has now given her a scooter to match.
Fixed with its own Pricey registration plate, the four-wheel scooter is now bright pink.
The mum-of-five broke both her heels on holiday in Turkey with her boyfriend Carl Woods.
After complications in surgery, Katie has been told by doctors to rest up so she can fully heal.
The trauma has taken its toll on the ex-glamour model who has turned to her mum Amy and sister Sophie to get through the "hard" time.
She was pictured this weekend on a girls' holiday at The Kennels, in Goodwood after opting to take time out of the spotlight.

“Kate has had a really hard few weeks,” the source says. “Injuring her feet was bad enough. But then she got the diagnosis and had to go through the operation. Recovering has been really hard and she knows it is going to be a long road.
“This weekend has been a step back in the right direction. Surrounding herself with her nearest and dearest is exactly what she has needed. They are all rallying round and making sure Katie is OK.”
