MTV VMAs 2020: Full winners list and how to watch the ceremony

ALTHOUGH music video production has been disrupted by the pandemic, that hasn't stopped artists from flexing their creative muscles.

The VMAs looked a lot different this year, but MTV was keen for the show to go on.

Who performed at the MTV VMAs 2020?

The show included performances from the likes of the Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, BTS, Maluma, Black Eyed Peas, Chloe x Halle, Keke Plamer, Tate McRae, CNCO, Lewis Capaldi, Jack Harlow, Machine Gun Kelly, DaBaby, Doja Cat, and Julia Michaels & JP Saxe.

However, it was Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's performance of Rain On Me that stole the show.

How to watch the ceremony

The ceremony aired on August 31, 2020, at 1:00 BST.

It was originally set to air live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, but those plans were scrapped due to coronavirus.

Performances were sill held around New York but with limited or no audience.
