Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid to return on Tuesday
GOOD Morning Britain fans were celebrating today after it was revealed Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid will return next week.
The pair, who have been off screens for nearly two months on a mega summer break, will be back on Tuesday.
That means the pair will get to enjoy a last lie-in on Monday, with stand-in hosts taking charge of the bank holiday show.
One fan raved: "I have missed you so much Susanna & Piers -the best duo. The mornings just haven’t been the same. I hope you’ve had a wonderful break, despite these crazy times."
Another insisted they were needed to hold MPs to account, writing: "I used to hate Piers and Susanna but actually since the govt have made so many U- turns I'm actually interested in what they want to say now."
Piers spent much his holiday gallivanting around St Tropez in the south of France hanging out with Joan Collins while Susanna appears to have stayed at home.
The return of big-mouthed Piers, 55, and his sparring partner Susanna, 49, heralds the return of what ITV is calling a "new normal".
Tuesday 1 September is the same day that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are coming back to host This Morning.
The comeback is heralded in a glossy new promo for the show that has been airing across the ITV network today.
Another, starring ITV's daytime line-up, filmed before they left, sees all the channel's stars uniting to promote the "new normal theme".
