Anna Duggar shades husband’s family for only allowing her kids to film on ‘rare occasions’ after his molestation claims

ANNA Duggar has thrown shade at her extended family over the decision to only include her children on screen during "rare occasions."

The mom of six is married to Josh Duggar, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle's 19 children, but the family of eight rarely appear on TLC show after Josh was fired amid molestation claims.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Anna shared pictures from the upcoming Christmas special, writing: "It means a lot when our family is included (on rare occasions) in the events that air on tv with ’s family.

"We had a blast celebrating Christmas with an ugly sweater party and a Christmas play!

"Hope you guys will tune in tonight! You don’t want to miss this episode coming up tonight at 8c/9e on @TLC!"

It was revealed in 2015 that , including four of his sisters when he was 14 and 15.

According to a 2006 police report, which Jim Bob first told cops in 2002 that Joshua had fondled the breasts and genitals of several young victims while they were asleep in the Duggar family home.

Months later told cops that Josh had alleged he had touched one of his victims while they were asleep on a sofa.

In 2003 the family patriarch told cops that Josh had gone through a Christian counseling program from March 17 to July 17, where he "did manual labor and had counseling."

It was later revealed two of the victims were his sisters, Jill and Jessa.

The family began their own TLC show 17 Kids and Counting - later called 19 Kids and Counting - in 2008.

It took another seven years for the allegations to surface, and Josh took to Facebook to apologize for the allegations, penning "twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends."

"I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation," he added.

"We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling."

Later that same year he admitted to having an extra-marital affair after reports that he had subscribed to the Ashley Madison affair website.

Josh - who was working for the Famly Research Council - said: "The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country I was hiding my own personal failures.

He said he was the "biggest hypocrite ever."

TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting but later began a spin-off called Counting On which follows the Duggar children as they marry and welcome their own babies.
