COLEEN Nolan, 55, has revealed she's flirting with a 38-year-old toyboy on social media as she defends age-gap love.

Speaking on Loose Women, the TV personality said that it was "nice to have a bit of a flirt" with a younger man.

Coleen initially said that she had a problem with younger guys as she could not understand why they wanted to be with a 55 year old.

"Is it because I'm on the tele, or they think I'm rich - why would you do that when you're that young," she asked her fellow panellists.

The former singer then said that she had actually been speaking to a "certain gentlemen on social media" who was 38, but whom she also happened to quite like.

She said: "With other guys I have spoken to of the same age, instantly I would say no you're too young - but this guy is that age but with an older soul.

"You need to connect personally with someone - the problem is on dating websites you don't really get that chance."

After the other panellists began began discussing whether a toyboy was acceptable, Coleen became more evasive.

She claimed the man in question was really just "a friend" and "a really nice guy" - before afterwards joking that she "might be married" by next week.

The light-hearted exchange about Coleen's dating life comes amidst ongoing tensions between the Loose Women panellists.

The Loose Women war kicked off last week when Coleen's agent Melanie Blake tore into Nadia Sawalha on Twitter.

But backing her pal, Denise shared a snap with co-host Nadia calling her the "loveliest of friends"; - and unfollowing Coleen.

One fan told The Sun Online: "I was shocked as Denise follows Stacey Solomon, Andrea McLean and Judi Love - she follows everyone except Coleen!"
