Time to meet this year's Big Brother hopefuls

These 12 hopefuls stepped into the Big Brother house tonight – but who are they and what sort of fun are they promising fans and viewers this year?
Marco Pierre White Junior
The son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, the 20-year-old is a striking tattooed model who has remained fairly under the radar – until now.
Saying he can get “pretty f*****g angry when I’m drunk”, he added that he has “had crazy nights, hotel parties, passing out, people I’ve never met passing out on my floor - there ain’t no sleep when I’m around!
“I want to go in the house, I want to f*** things up! But if people think I’m going to cook then they’re wrong – maybe for a couple of chicks.”
And he promises viewers and his fellow housemates that it’s “gonna be one hell of a summer”.
Emma and Victoria Jensen
These bouncy and fun-loving twins, who count as one contestant, spoke in unison as they described themselves as being “really enthusiast, we’re positive energy givers, love colour and nature and animals and the environment.
“I don’t think we’ll be annoying, guaranteed to bring in fun, positive entry and games.”
And they told host Emma Willis: “Double trouble? No, we’re not too naughty.”
Andy West
This former BBC news reader lost his job when he criticised their refusal to remove controversial boxer Fury from the shortlist for the Sports Personality of the Year awards.
He said: “I’m not proud to be a gay man; I’m just a gay man. We need to get over it and get on with our lives.”
He added that the best thing about him is his brain because “sometimes it’s my best friend, sometimes my enemy”, and “if I can’t have an intelligent conversation I will turn inside out and rock in the corner until I die”.
He told Emma: “I stopped being a journalist so thought this was a chance to show we have personalities and are nice people, we’re decent types. I don’t want to make bad headlines but it’s so easy. I have a boyfriend so no naughty headlines."
Laura Carter
The “housewife turned international bawler” said she is a “fun loving northern lass” who modestly said: “I know if I walk in a room I could have every single guy in there.”
“I’m 30 and never had Botox or fillers. Oh no, I tell a lie - had my t**s and teeth done!”
Alex Cannon
The 27-year-old Scouser is Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison’s best friend and has been a model for ten years. He said: “If it’s fitness or underwear the kit’s gotta come off, I’m a piece of meat I suppose!
“I’m old enough to know better but young enough to not give a f***. I’m a big advocate of treating people as you want to be treated. I respect women as my mum is my hero, only had one proper girlfriend and we split up quite amicably and now she’s happy with the poor man’s version of me!”
Did he have any advice from Vicky? “She just said to be myself and enjoy it, hope it works!”
Lateysha Grace
A star of MTV’s reality show The Valleys, the Port Talbot girl said she said she is proud of being Welsh, so much so “I had a sheep tattooed on my f***y”.
“When I kick off I really kick off. If someone ruffles my feathers, p***** me off and annoys me if someone chats s*** to me, I hate two faced people.
“Not scared of no one except my mum, she petrifies me, and she told me, ‘make sure you don’t embarrass me’.”
Evelyn Ellis
From Sydney, Australia, she said the three words that describe her best are, “ambition, reckless and impatient - not a good mix.
“If someone tells me to do something I won’t. I have an ugly attitude when I don’t get my way.

Describing himself as “a bit of a man about town”, this Blackpool lad claims people tell him “I’m the best looking person they’ve ever seen.”
“My group of friends are popular, always taken to the top table in a clubs, get free bottles.
“I get a lot of attention, straight guys come on to me, girls come on to me, being a gay lad I don’t hang out on the gay scene as it’s very bitchy.”
And from Big Brother he just wants to take away “good memories and the cash prize at the end”.
Georgina Leigh Cantwell
Girl from Kent who has returned to the UK after living in New York for six years. She said: “I moved back as missed polo and show jumping but if I was watching and heard someone say that, I’d think thought posh t**t .
She hates “unpedicured toes make me feel sick, not on my watch” and said she hopes people like “my make-up, my hair, my clothes - that sounds really shallow.”
Jason Burrill
This property developer is also a stand in double for films such as Spectre and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Describing himself as a big softy who loves his shiatsu dog, he said: “I don’t’ care what people think, I’m not an a**e and if talking like an a******e, then there’s a reason for that. If they put me in with a dozen or so a******s then God help me.”
Jackson Blyton
From Nottingham, he said he was a model a long time ago “when I was pretty” and is from a council estate where you had to “nick your milk”.
He describes himself as the “full anti-man” and added: “I respect women enough to know there’s a line you shouldn’t cross. I put p**** on a pedestal, got to make them feel like the queens they are.”
He said his motto in life is “f*** it” and while he’s a fairly laid back guy, “if my cup of tea and fag gets taken away then expect big things.”
Chelsea Singh
The London-born and bred entrepreneur said he’ll miss his Bentley convertible because there’s “no point earning if you can’t spend it”.
He added: “I’m last to bed, first up in the morning, I’m the guvnor.”
Asked why he’s doing BB as he doesn’t need the money, he told Emma: “For the experience, it’s a great opportunity, done everything else in my life so why not – I can win it, will try my best, let’s see what happens.”
